Social Justice Resources

Yoga, Nia, BLACK LIVES MATTER and Anti-Racism Resources

Racism and hatred are the opposites of all that yoga teaches us. The recent deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery were all horrific acts of violence. Heart and Sole Yoga and Nia stands with our Yoga and Nia communities as we choose to raise our voice in solidarity with the goal of social justice for all.

Yoga Alliance has created a resource page to provide information for those who seek to be informed about the struggle of African Americans, increase their awareness and empathy and contribute to the cause of social justice.

Nia International is committed to social justice and reform.

Nia stands for human rights, dignity, and freedom for all.  We stand with the oppressed and we are committed to do all that we can to right the wrongs that have plagued us for generations.  The brutal killing of George Floyd is wrong, shocking, tragic, and demands equality and justice.

The systemic racism against black people MUST STOP NOW.
